how come the Panama flag is missing from your click a flag?
Please excuse the tardiness of this ask! And as for Panama not being included: although geographically Panama is part of Central America, historically Panama is actually part of South America. Cartographers generally include Panama geographically within Central America (because of its location), but historians will (correctly) argue that Panama’s history is more closely aligned with South America. As such, Panama is not included.

We want to tell all the people of El Salvador that it is certain that we live in uncertain times. What awaits us in 1980? Will this be a time of civil war? Will this be a year of total destruction? Have we not merited the mercy of God with so much bloodshed —- blood that has been shed as the result of hatred, repression and violence? In light of the uncertainty of the uture, may God have mercy on us.

Maximón—-> is believed to be a form of the pre-columbian Maya god Mam, also called San Simón. It has been suggested that the name Maximón is a combination of Simón and Max, the Mam word for tabacco.
